About Official Holidays
Official holidays in Bulgaria are determined by law and are usually non-working days. Some of them are national holidays, others are religious or cultural celebrations.
Important about Non-Working Days
When an official holiday (non-working day) falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the next working day is also declared non-working. This compensation may vary each year according to a decision by the Council of Ministers.
